At least one of my children has been sick since Saturday night. I have spent two nights on the couch with a puking kiddo and at least one of those nights has been spent holding a sleeping but non sick toddler. Needless to say, it has been a constant stream of white bread, saltines, Ginger Ale, Disney XD and Netflix around here.
Since we are stuck in the house anyway, I decided I might as well bite the bullet and really hit up the potty training. It's been a mixed bag; George no longer has a panic attack when I suggest the potty (score!) but refuses to actually use said potty or wear underwear (boo!) Cole loves to wear underwear, be naked and tell me when he has gone potty (all fairly good!) but hates to sit ON said potty. In short, watch where you step.
George: Mom, I got Wii 'mote!
A full sentence! Nice!
Me: When the timer goes off, it will be time for the two of you to sit on the potty.
G: Baby!
Me: You want the baby to sit on the potty first?
G: Yeah!
Way to throw your brother under the potty training bus, kid.
